Cody Munro Moore is a recording engineer, producer, and songwriter based on the South Coast of New South Wales. Working across studio and live environments, his practice focuses on capturing honest, place-driven recordings that reflect both the artist and their surroundings.

As the former co-owner of Stranded Recording Studio, Cody has worked with a wide range of emerging and established artists, developing a reputation for thoughtful production and a collaborative, artist-first approach. His work spans studio records, live sessions, and community-driven projects, often centred around regional music communities.

Cody’s broader practice extends into programming, production, and artist development. He has worked extensively across the Illawarra and regional NSW through his role with MusicNSW, supporting artists through mentorship, workshops, and industry advocacy. From 2023 to 2025, he served as Festival Director of the Illawarra Folk Festival, leading programming and operations across three years.

His current work is focused on developing Moveable Sounds, a mobile recording approach that brings high-quality production into regional and remote spaces. As a songwriter, his work is grounded in narrative and place, often reflecting his connection to regional communities and environments.
